Raised Bed Strawbale Garden Tips and Chores…Broke Gardening

It was time to get out in the garden and take care of some business. The straw in the raised beds is getting lower and lower, and the plants don’t have enough space to set deep roots. So, removing the plants and adding soil to the beds was the only solution. In addition, we planted some of Bonnie’s new big box ghost peppers for a test run, and we built a support for the corn. We also pruned the tomatoes for better fruit production. I also show you an awesome DIY outdoor bench (or bed) that is as cheap as it is awesome!
